Fledgley: Bird Survival Tycoon
A relaxing Bird Survival Tycoon sim. Play as a Territorial Blue Jay as you survive through several levels of unique challenges!
Game Mechanics
Game mechanics center around bird stuff. Eat, rest, survive, spend, and multiply. Using your energy, make money and travel the map to outfit the area for your flock.
Meters
Red Meter: Energy - Expended when you move and fly. If it dips far enough below your energy bar's limit, you will die. This goes the same for all the other birds, so make sure you and your flock have full feeders! Sitting on the ground will very-slowly regain your energy meter (in case of emergency).
Green Meter: Belly - How full your belly is. If you are perched, your belly will slowly drain and quickly fill your energy meter. When you eat at a feeder, you fill your belly up.
Some levels have unique challenges like item counts, or facing against another species for who can consume the most seed.
Making Money
Birds generate money when resting. (They're crafty accountants who do valuable bird math when they're resting.) Use that money to spend on tools to maintain your flock and yourself.
Controls
- WASD - Fly
- Space or K - Land on a perch or feeder
- W or D - Leave a perch or feeder
- Mouse Wheel - Change tools
- J - Poop
- L - Bird call
Tools
Using the mouse scrollwheel, or a click, select tools in the above menu:
- Build New Feeder - Land on a feeder to refill your feed bar.
- Take a Picture - TBA: Take pictures of unique scenes and complete a photo book. (Feature not working at submission time)
- Make an Egg - Spend enough time on an egg and it will hatch into another bird.
- Fill a Feeder - Fills an entire feeder.
- Put a Peanut on the Ground - Used in a pinch to feed a hungry bird. When playing later levels, leave one your feeders to give a 'canary' warning for feeder level.
- Build a Tree - There's limited places to perch. If a bird has nowhere to perch it will not be happy.
Known Issues
- There's no "Idle" mode for a blank mouse.

I love the game it's honestly very fun even though it's simple! I do wish that there maybe was some way to "upgrade" feeders to hold more seeds, as trying to manage a bunch in different sections of the world can be pretty rough. Otherwise, super fun!
I like it! reminds me in a good way of those simple flash games and a simulation game. pretty cool, however I feel like there's a lot going on. I think it would be cool if you could navigate the world with a mouse and then click on birds to play as them, sometimes if I wanted to see the map I couldn't.
honestly not too sure how the theme played into this one but I like the concept
